About Us
About SwiftLock
SwiftLock is an independent locksmith directory covering the United States. We organize locksmith information, service details, customer reviews, and contact links into clean, comparable pages so homeowners and drivers can find reliable help without bouncing between dozens of tabs.
Why we built this
When you're locked out of your car at midnight or your home lock breaks on a holiday, you need a reliable locksmith fast. The last thing you want is to sift through dozens of search results trying to figure out which locksmith is actually available, actually licensed, and actually near you.
We started SwiftLock because we wanted a single place where people could quickly find locksmiths who are verified as open, see their ratings and service areas, and call them directly. No booking middlemen, no lead-generation forms that sell your info to five different companies.
The goal is simple: connect people with lock emergencies to real, local locksmiths as fast as possible.
Behind the name
Swift because when you need a locksmith, every minute counts. Lock because that is the problem we solve. SwiftLock is about the combination of speed and security — getting you back inside quickly while making sure the job is done right.
We believe finding trustworthy help should not itself be a crisis. The name reflects our commitment to precision: a lock that works, a search that works.
What we do
We maintain a directory of 2,971 locksmiths across 51 US states. Each listing includes:
- Verified business hours with 24/7 availability indicators
- Direct phone numbers for immediate contact
- Customer ratings and review summaries from Google
- Service categories: emergency lockout, rekeying, lock installation, and more
- Official website links and Google Maps directions
- Photos of the business from verified sources
Alongside the directory, our editorial team publishes security guides, emergency tips, and locksmith advice through the Journal section.
Our editorial approach
Every locksmith page on this site is built from verified data. We cross-reference business listings, check operating hours, and confirm contact details before publishing. When information changes, we update the listing.
Our journal articles are written with the homeowner and driver in mind. Instead of generic advice, we focus on practical questions: what to do when locked out of your car, how to choose a trustworthy locksmith, and how to improve your home security on a budget.
We do not accept payment for placement in our directory or editorial content. Locksmith listings are included based on data availability and customer ratings, not advertising relationships.
Get in touch
We welcome messages from homeowners, locksmith professionals, and media contacts. Whether you have a question about a listing, want to suggest a correction, or are interested in an editorial collaboration, reach out through our contact page.
